About Me.
I am Bobby Jaegers, ACAS, MAAA, CSPA, FCA and ever since I was young, I had a passion for using modern technologies to make life simpler and using statistical methods to bolster the power of technology to make predictions using data. After graduating college, I worked several years in the IT consulting industry sharpening my programming skills and manipulating large datasets. Since then, I have worked at a regional insurer to gain an understanding of how insurance companies operate from writing a policy, to claims handling, to reserving and pricing functions.
I have since been working on sharpening my technical skills in predictive analytics frameworks as I've been managing actuarial projects in a consulting fashion. I have served on many committees within the CAS and American Academy of Actuaries including:
-
Chair of the CAS CSPA Project Grading Committee
-
Member of the CAS PCPA Project Committee
-
Member of the American Academy of Actuaries Cyber Risk Task Force
-
Member of Several Committees to Teach College Students about the CAS
